Switch Mobility wins bid to operate 40 Electric buses in Chandigarh City. 

Earlier this month, Switch Mobility Automotive Ltd won a bid to operate 40 zero-emission buses under the FAME-II scheme.These electric buses will be supplied with fast charging technology, and will provide service within the route plans set by the Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU). On average, this fleet of 40 state-of-the-art electric buses will reduce carbon emissions by 1700 tonnes each year. Switch will maintain and operate the fleet end-to-end, and the charging infrastructure will be developed across four locations (Depot-3, ISBT-17, ISBT-43 & PGI) in the Tri-city.
